Skyline Music Fest

Sep. 27, 2017

We’re happy to be sponsoring this year’s Tom Skinner Skyline Music Fest, the second annual festival to benefit the Red Dirt Relief Fund. The Red Dirt Relief Fund is a non-profit organization that provides a safety net of critical assistance to Oklahoma musicians facing financial difficulty due to emergencies or crises. Since it began in 2012, the fund has given over $65,000 to musicians across Oklahoma.

The festival celebrates the life and songwriting tradition of Oklahoma music legend, Tom Skinner. Skinner was often quoted for his description of Red Dirt music as “more of a brotherhood and a community thing than it is necessarily a style.” The Skyline Music Fest seeks to celebrate that community in a festival atmosphere that will surprise music fans of all genres and ages. This year’s lineup includes Science Project Band, Mike McClure Band, Red Dirt Rangers, Annie Oakley, Grazzhopper Trio, Desi & Cody, Monica Taylor, Jesse Aycock, Jacob Tovar, Kalyn Fay, Lauren Barth, Sarah Barker Huhn, John Williams, Chris Blevins, Ali Harter, Jared Tyler and more.
